Launch of Products and Services for the UK

As some of you may be aware, over the last 3 years I have been doing a lot of consultancy work with VRA, VRAC, eBay and some major insurers in the UK.

It’s given me great insight into what the market needs and I realised many of our products and services needed to be re-worked with the UK automotive recycler in mind.

So that’s exactly what we have done in 2020 and 2021:

“There is a real need for some of the products we have developed at APS in the UK. I speak with recyclers here every day now and it is crystal clear that there are significant opportunities to improve their use of their Yard Management System and the data within it. I know that our exactstats product, for example, will help you understand your business drivers, enabling you to make much better decisions and fast.”

We have built data analytics tools that enable them to dissect and segment your data.

My team and I personally then builds the exactstats reports that are meaningful and actionable, supported by recommendations and a one on one quarterly review of progress.

We have also built from scratch or tweaked existing products to support the UK market such as:

  • exactlist - We provide the people remotely to list your products on eBay in a consistent, quality and methodical way.

  • exactlinc - a system backed by multiple full time Listing Optimisation Specialists that map MPNs, vehicle compatibility and even review grading on all your live listings.

  • exactsalez - a remote sales function to support your in house team.

  • All Auto Recalls - a service to help auto recyclers manage recalled parts and meet VRAC certification requirements.

“We have a number of users of all these products in the UK and Ireland already. Although this has happened somewhat organically, I feel that a more concerted effort is now warranted to help recyclers and I am personally committed to doing that with our products and services there.”

In 2022, my work with eBay will see me working closer with the VRA, VRAC and their members.

“There is absolute alignment between what eBay wants, APS products and services and what recyclers need.  By bringing this altogether, everyone will benefit.”

The APS approach is to offer multiple, inter-connected yet independent products and services.

This means that APS customers can take them as individual components, or supercharge the benefits by packaging them together for even better outcomes.

The resulting synergies, drive compound benefits as experienced by many of the APS customers around the world.

Don’t just take my word for it - here’s a great response from one of our long standing customers in New Zealand who uses 4 of our products together for success:

“We now use exactbids to help us prepare our bids on vehicles, exactstats to help us fine tune our buying settings to make sure we buy most profitably, exactlist to then take our inventory and list onto TradeMe, and now exactsales to help us respond to online questions quickly and effectively as well as take incoming customer calls.  Using them independently is great, but since we combined them - WOW, the results have been amazing”
